Welcome My specialty is photographing dance and theater performances in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Capturing images in a stage venue without a flash presents unique challenges due to the low light and moving subjects. In addition to having the experience and tools to overcome these hurdles, I also understand the process of producing a dance performance, so I can be unobtrusive yet capture excellent images. I provide dance and theater production companies the means of documenting their performances and providing high quality prints to the performers, their parents and friends. I am available to photograph the performance itself as well as provide individual and group portraits on location. When I market the prints to the dancers and their families, there is typically no cost to the studio or theater for my services. I sell prints, enlargements and other photographic gifts directly to the parents and performers. I also offer to the studio and event organizers the means of participating in the sale of prints to raise funds. In addition to still photography, I also provide videography services. I have the capability of making multi-camera videos of the performance and provide the video on DVD. I have the equipment to patch into the theater sound system for the best possible audio reproduction. Multi-camera videos are edited on a state of the art video editing system and burned to high quality DVD media. Though my speciality in performance photography, I also provide more traditional photography services: family and senior portraits, events and rites of passage, product photography, publicity headshots, and weddings.
